Marriage

After numerous quarrels and misunderstandings, rainbow still appears after a rainy day. My parents are now more bonded and loving as compared than before.


In a marriage, or can say to have a lasting marriage, communication, honesty, understanding, patience, determination and trust are really really important.
1.)No communication = won't be clear of each others' needs and feelings, distance will be greater
2.)No honesty = lies and secrets will only make misunderstandings arise, thorns will be grown inside the heart, no matter how long the history of the issue had been, the grudge still be there
3.)No understanding = try to put in each others' situation, everyone has their very own mindset and feeling, being too self-centered only hurt both parties in the end
4.)No patience = everyone is a special individual, no one is alike, accepting each others' bad and good points willingly, no matter how bad the situation be, be calm, there's always a solution for every problem
5.)No determination = everything needs effort to have good results. Believe in sucession and things will have good ending eventually
6.)No trust = relationship will be drifted apart, once trust is missing, sincere communication and honesty be missing too. No matter how much effort being put in, it still be a bad ending


After seeing so many marriages failing around me, winessing the ups and downs of my parents' marriage and personally experiencing a 5yrs marriage of my own, I learnt forgive and forget, to take and give, not be greedy are crucial too. No one is perfect, nothing good can last forever, just depends how you want to accept. Take things easy, be optimist and days will pass faster and lighter no matter what serious matters come. Take everyday as a lesson to learn, there's bound to have something to ponder on at night before you sleep. Think of how to make it better and next time will be better.

I didn't realised I have been together with hubby for 9years and married for 5years for this coming June. Time really flies... haha..

Wish everyone around me to have true happiness and with good health. Do cherish everyone around you when they are still around. There's no way for regrets because it's you who choose the path.
