Looks Strange

After using this sarong for about 1.5mths, I realised Sporean are tooooo "modern".

Whenever I bring my son around using this sarong, people will usually look at me strangely. Some will come up to me and ask me "What's inside?", "Inside baby ah?", "So strange to have baby inside"

Their reactions only made me feel strange, cos most of the people who asked me are those mid 30s or older.. I remembered clearly my ah ma used to carry me around using this sarong when I'm very small.. That means this sarong tradition has been around for more than 20yrs. Why they are "mountain tortoise" (Suaku) than me lei? haha...

Some of the elders will say, "Don't wrap like that lah, baby seems miserable, wrapped up like a ball" My eyebrow will automatically twitch up. These people are really ignorant... Small babies especially premature babies, they like and need to be hug and wrap tightly, to have enough security and warmth that's crucial for their mental and physical growth. & if they are really tortured, do you think they still can sleep so peacefully and snoring away inside the sarong? -_-"'

This sarong is so much more convenient than pram, it saves space, saves energy moving it up and down stairs or even buses, and provides more hands to carry things or even hold elder kids. & so much affordable... Moreover, it will strengthen the bond between baby and mother too, the baby will feel the presence of the mother and feel much more safer...

Only hope Sporeans can have better knowledge towards babycare, and have flexibility in absorbing new information towards everything... Last of all, hope they have COURTESY and be HELPFUL... Some youngsters or even adults are so selfish, seeing me carry things, holding Kieron and with Kayden inside the sarong, no one will bother to let seat, even if not for me, at least for the little kid who is still young to balance in a moving bus. They will only stare at me, giving me strange eye contacts. Can't stand them.. What an ugly sight of Spore.
