Yesterday, when Kieron went back to school after his long sickly break, his teacher welcomed him at the classroom's entrance. His teacher, " Kieron, how are you today?" Kieron was so shy, he dared not look into her eyes and replied, " I'm fine, thank you." WOW~!!! He managed to answer correctly. Because he's been using Mandarin since small, he couldn't really understand his teacher when he first started school. Now, he's able to use simple English sentences and he can understand what his teacher says in class. His teacher was so happy when she heard him replying the right greeting. She said few weeks ago, when she asked him how old is he. He replied, "I'm fine, thank you" We laughed... haha... She also said that Kieron absorbed things very fast compared to other students in the class.. Feel glad about it..
Hmmz.. My feeling now is not showing off but feeling abit consoled, because he apart of being TOO mischievious till my other family members tried to avoid playing with him, he's able to get good scores in his studies. Hope he will continue work hard in his studies, don't have to be excellent but acceptable will be fine.
Today when I fetched him from school, his teacher talked to me. She said "Kieron knows how to write, he's able to copy down nicely on his own, just that I have to wait him finish his letter "Y" slowly." hehehe... Kieron was so shy standing beside me, hearing what his teacher commented. She even wrote some comments on his schoolwork. "Kieron was able to follow teacher instructions. He wrote the words on his own with little guidance from the teacher. Well done! Kieron."
