Cold, relaxing, fun trip - Cameron Highlands

It's my 3rd time, Kieron's 2nd time, Kayden's 1st time to Cameron Highlands..

This time round, we had more fun than past trips.. Kieron had fun chatting with our guide aka driver, Mani. Kayden had fun teasing the elders in our group. The kids came across many things that amused and amazed them. We stayed in Hotel Equatorial, located on the highest peak of Cameron Highlands, there's no air con, yet it's already freezing with the windows partially opened.

The weather was lovely, lowest when we're there abut 14C, highest about 22C. It was fantastic especially when we're climbing uphill, panting, tired but not sweating.. keke.. Bad was it could cause bad chills down the spine when cold wind came by.

Steamboat dinner is a MUST in Cameron Highlands, Mani intro us this restaurant. It was delicious, affordable and amazing to eat with a long chimney steamboat.



Rose Centre - Biggest centre all the way uphill, it took us 1.5hrs to travel up n down the hill.



Smokehouse - Built by British, but now owned by a Chinese businessman. It's a hotel that only has 40 rooms, each night can costs few hundreds.. Pity that there's Xmas event for the rich, outsiders could not go in to take photos.


Boh Tea Plantation - Shelyn and I took a photo in front of this rock 12yrs ago. Now we're back again and aged.. =_=


Went Bee farm and another Butterfly farm - Kieron learnt how to catch butterflies barehanded.. The butterflies were pretty but I was scared out of wits when they flew near me. Taking closed up photos for each type of them made me shiver..


Mani's farm located in a valley. The wind was so much colder than around those farms near our hotel. It's truly Cameron Highlands whereby no high rised buildings around, merely mountains, farms and friendly people. The kids and adults were fantasized with the veges grown in the farm.

Last day in Cameron Highlands was the coldest. The kids were wrapped up and had fun running about while waiting for arrival of our coach.

We took 700+ photos in 2 days, attached some highlights of the places we went. Hopefully we can go Cameron Highlands again, probably next year. Mani's parents invited us to stay there for a week. We shall plan again. keke..
