First time to Sungei Buloh nature reserve park 13nov10

At first,when double Ks heard abt e plan of going,they were really excited n enthusiastic. Getting changed fast n chased us out of hs. They were asking qs non stop on our way there.
When we reached there, e boys were dashing,couldnt wait to explore.however,we explained that this park isnt same like zoo.animals r on wild.they r supposed to walk close to US. After seeing e first crocodile "Watch it" signboard.that really freaked me out,though already knew crocs do appear before,but with 2kids around,became so so so alert.that I was a little overwhelmed,Keke.even some grass movements made me pulled e kids near me.u could hear me repeating "please walk in e center of e path if nt u will fallover" both sides of e path r mangroves. From e path, we could c live monitor lizards that grew up to 80cm.some even walked from 1side of mangrove to another.we saw big shiny fishes jumping out of from water.saw some migratory birds,lovely insects,otters fightin over fish,n plenty of mosquitoes smacked by us. During that 2.5hours walk,we had over 10bites on our arms n legs.my bro n double Ks had some on their faces. We were dehydrated,finished our water within first hour. Afterall, we were delighted that we managed to walk finish despite how hot n tired. We even walked to e main road to take bus back from e park,no bus on sat,we walked for 20mins,thank god it was windy n cloudy when its home time,if nt we had become dried fishes. Haha. E boys learnt alot,from nature to safety needs. Next target hortpark.
